My family and I FINALLY had an opportunity to stop by Wellington’s Food Truck Invasion, which takes place every Thursday night at the Wellington Amphitheater, and we had so much fun filling our bellies. Although with so many different food trucks and food choices it was tough for us to choose just one, but at least all four of us did not have to agree on one food truck, which of course we did not.

I kept it simple with a shroom burger and my husband had an old favorite, a gyro and french fries. My oldest son loves seafood, so he went with a lobster roll from Red Zeppelin and according to my youngest son he had one of the best pulled pork sandwiches from Mobile Culinary Kitchen. While my husband and I passed on dessert my boys finished the evening with some Zombie Ice.
Overall the food was tasty and affordable, plus there is no cost for admission and parking is FREE.
Based on our families experience I would highly recommend stopping by Wellington’s Thursday night Food Truck Invasion for a fun filled evening of great food, music and friends.
This is truly a Wellington Florida event the whole family will enjoy and for once you will not have to agree on one place to dine and the wait time to receive your food should be pretty short, we waited no more than 10-15 mintues.
Wellington’s Thursday Night Food Truck Invasion starts at 5:00pm and winds down at 9:30pm from now until May 9th, 2013.
The Wellington Amphitheater is located on the south side of Forest Hill Boulevard at 12100 Forest Hill Boulevard in Wellington Florida just west of South Shore Boulevard and 441 (SR-7).

I love this, we don’t have anything like this in Nashville that I’m aware of.
How fun Michelle, the food trucks have gotten so gourmet now. I need to find something like that near me!! Sounds delicious, and love the name Red Zeppelin!
