Every year the Village of Wellington honors our Veterans by holding a Memorial Day Parade along with a Memorial Day Ceremony and this year these two events will take place on Monday, May 27th, 2013.

First up will be the Memorial Day Parade in Wellington Florida, which begins at 8:15am. It will start at the Wellington Community Center and end at Wellington’s Veteran Memorial. (The Wellington Community Center is located at 12150 Forest Hill Boulevard, Wellington, Florida 33414 and Wellington’s Veterans Memorial is located on the corner of Forest Hill Boulevard and South Shore Boulevard).

The Memorial Day Ceremony in Wellington Florida will begin immediately following the Memorial Day Parade around 8:30am at the Veterans Memorial. If you have never been to Wellington’s Veterans Memorial and you are unable to attend the ceremony I highly recommend stopping by at some point, the Village of Wellington did a magnificent job creating this memorial.
