Wellington Florida has so many great holiday events lined up in December.  From the ever popular WinterFest to the Holiday Parade to the Holiday Fun Park, Wellington has something the entire family is sure to enjoy.  If you are a Wellington resident or want to see why Wellington is such a great place to call home stop by any of these holiday events.

Wellington WinterFest 2011: WinterFest will be held at the Wellington Amphitheater again this year and starts at 6:00pm.  Robert Van Winkle, aka Vanilla Ice, will be the headlining performer.  Santa will also be stopping by along with Mayor Bowen who will read “Twas the Night Before Christmas.”  Wellington has several other activities lined up this year for WinterFest.

Wellington Holiday Tree Lighting:  The Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony will take place during WinterFest this year.  Wellington’s Holiday Tree will be located on Forest Hill Blvd.

Wellington Holiday Parade: Wellington’s annual Holiday Parade will start at 1:00pm.  The Holiday Parade begins on the corner of Forest Hill Blvd and Wellington Trace, heads down Forest Hill Blvd and will end at Wellington’s Town Center & Amphitheater.

Holiday Fun Park:  The Wellington Amphitheater will be hosting the Holiday Fun Park From 11:00am to 5:30pm, featuring music, bounce houses, food and exhibit booths.

Holiday Run/ Walk: This great event will start at 12:45pm at Forest Hill Blvd and Country Club Drive.  The cost is $15 for those who pre-register and $10 for children 12 years of age or younger.  For more information visit www.PalmsWest.com or call 561.791.2069.
