Towne Place is one of Wellington Florida’s most desirable townhome communities. Throughout 2001 and 2002 Contential Homes built all of the two story townhomes in Towne Place.
Like other communities throughout Wellington Florida property value increased at a rapid rate in Towne Place and reached it’s peak in 2005 with a median sale price of $270,000. Since 2006 property value in Towne Place has been decreasing, but so has the number of townhomes for sale. As of February 2012 Towne Place is a SELLER’S MARKET, which means there are more townhome buyers than homes for sale in Towne Place.
The above graph displays Towne Place townhome sales for 2002 to 2011. The dark purple shows the number of homes sold while the light purple shows the median home sales price for that particular year. This graph does NOT include all new construction. You will notice an increase in the median sales price in 2010, which could most likely be contributed to the First Time Home Buyer Tax credit that was offered in 2009 & 2010 and in my opinion re-engized the real estate market.
As of today, there is only one townhome for sale in Towne Place listed at $149,900.
