Picking up and moving isn’t easy regardless if you’re moving down the street or across the county, but relocating to an area you’re unfamiliar with can be outright nerve-racking. When I relocated to Wellington, Florida back in 2001 I didn’t know what the best Wellington neighborhoods were, if the schools were top-rated, or where to shop.

This page focuses specifically on renting a home in Wellington during a relocation. For buying-focused guidance and long-term neighborhood comparisons, start with the main relocation hub linked below.

Back then, in order to obtain information about the area I had to talk to a lot of people, but today a majority of this information can be found online. I personally have written an online Relocation Guide for Wellington Florida, which provides a quick overview of what this little village has to offer.

I’ve also written a Wellington Community Guide, which shares some of the most popular neighborhoods in the area. However, when it comes down to housing and lifestyle, not all of the information you find online may be accurate or fit what you’re looking for.

Relocating Doesn’t Have to Be a Nightmare!

Relocating to Wellington, Florida, and finding a home to rent doesn’t have to be a nightmare. However, if you’re unprepared, it can easily become one. Not a lot of Realtors handle rentals, so don’t assume upon your arrival you’ll be able to find a Realtor willing to assist you.

It can also take hours and even days to obtain showing instructions to view a home. These are the things that should be done before you even arrive. Plus, rentals in Wellington go fast, so if you locate one, but don’t have all of the documentation needed to submit an offer you may lose out.

Relocating to Wellington Florida Hire a Rental AgentNow, you certainly don’t need to hire a rental agent when relocating to Wellington FL, but going at it alone can be extremely stressful and time-consuming.
