• Give the landlord the outstanding balance of money owed in certified funds; cashier’s check or money order.
• Register with the gate or clubhouse, if necessary.
• Do a final walk-through and note any existing damage to the property. Then send it to your agent and landlord for their records. This will ensure you are not charged upon moving out.
• Check to make sure all utilities are on and working properly.
