Things to do in the Summer | Hit the Wellington Parks
Wellington Florida has so many great parks to choose from and here are two of my favorites that I’m sure my family will visit over the summer.
Village Park in Wellington Florida is where a majority of Wellington’s recreational programs take place. It has a great playground, roller hockey rink, skate park, basketball courts, volleyball courts, soccer fields, baseball/softball fields, football fields, and two gymnasiums. There are plenty of benches, pavilions, and restrooms throughout Village Park, which is located at 11700 Pierson Road in Wellington Florida.
Scott’s Place is another great park in Wellington Florida that has a playground for children of all abilities. This is the newest park in Wellington that was built by community volunteers back in 2010. Scott’s Place also has benches, pavilions, and a restroom. This fabulous park is located at 12190 Forest Hill Blvd in Wellington Florida.
