Recycle AND Save Money at Target?
The next time you shop at your local Target make sure to bring your reusable bags because they will give you 5₵ for each recyclable bag you use. While Target sells recyclable bags you don’t have to buy or use theirs in order to get the credit, the bag just has to be an actual reusable shopping bag, not plastic.
Target also has recycling stations at the front of each store. Last year they launched their “recycling program” to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Earth Day and put a recycling station at every store across the nation. Now Target customers can recycle aluminum, glass, and plastic beverage containers, plastic bags, MP3 players, cell phones, and ink cartridges right at the store.
